Warmly congratulate the release of the group standard “Water-Based Coatings for Low-Speed Vehicles.”

Entrusted by the China Coatings Industry Association, Chongqing Yilong Coatings Co., Ltd., together with Hebei Zhufeng Dajiang Tricycle Motorcycle Co., Ltd., Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd., and other companies, spent over a year—through several rounds of discussions and revisions—to finally officially release the “Waterborne Coatings for Low-Speed Vehicles.” The document was formally published to coincide with the nationwide celebrations of the 2022 New Year and will take effect on March 1, 2022.

This standard has been developed to cover the research, production, sales, and promotion of water-based coatings for low-speed vehicles. It provides an in-depth understanding of the current status and technological levels both domestically and internationally, and includes a comprehensive review of relevant national and international standards and literature. Given the relatively mature conditions, and in order to regulate market behavior and enhance and stabilize product quality, we have collaborated with relevant manufacturing units, end-users of these products, and raw material suppliers to jointly develop a group standard titled “Water-Based Coatings for Low-Speed Vehicles.” This initiative has received strong support from the Standardization Committee of the China Coatings Industry Association.
