The combat effectiveness of a company’s professional teams determines its market competitiveness, serves as the core driving force behind its development, and forms the foundation for its own modernization. So how can we cultivate and build various outstanding professional teams?
I. A Shared Goal
At every stage, the company should have clear and well-defined goals, while also allowing each team member to have their own distinct purposes and personalities. However, as a unified whole, the team must share a common goal—a single, united front!
II. Sunshine, Transparency, Fairness, and Impartiality
Don't form cliques or factions.
Do not retaliate or take revenge.
Don't let honest people suffer a loss.
Policy evaluation is objective.
3. A charismatic and passionate management team
Team leaders often play the role of supportive coaches, offering their teams encouragement and guidance rather than trying to control their subordinates, and they exude vitality and positive energy.
4. Mutual support and trust, and willingness to share.
Cultivate altruistic thinking!
If we win, we’ll raise our glasses in celebration; if we lose, we’ll fight to the death to save each other!
V. A Strong Sense of Innovation
We must adopt a forward-thinking mindset, dare to break the status quo, and boldly experiment with new approaches in development models, management practices, working methods, and product innovation. The future will undoubtedly belong to the digital and intelligent era.
6. Leverage each other’s strengths and complement each other’s capabilities.
No one is perfect; everyone has their own strengths as well as their own weaknesses.
You must learn to appreciate others’ strengths and honestly acknowledge your own shortcomings, then leverage each other’s strengths to make up for weaknesses—only then can you achieve twice the result with half the effort.
7. Clear definition of rights, responsibilities, and benefits
Team members must clearly understand their role and division of labor within the organizational structure, and even more importantly, they should have a clear grasp of the responsibilities they bear.
At the same time, the company should establish clear policies and salary structures, and wherever possible, adopt digital formats rather than relying on text-based documentation.
8. Open channels of communication and harmonious relationships.
Only when team members have smooth and open communication can they exchange emotions, build mutual trust, and coordinate their actions—thus enabling the team to develop cohesion and combat effectiveness!
In Kazuo Inamori’s “Five Principles of Management,” emphasis is placed on “building positive interpersonal relationships.”
9. Members have a sense of belonging.
Member sense of belonging refers to the feeling of identification, fairness, security, and accomplishment toward the company—developed over a period of time through work—in terms of one’s thoughts, psychology, and emotions.
To achieve this goal, we need to work together to do well in the nine tasks mentioned above and jointly create Yilong—a happy and harmonious big family.
