On Friday, July 30, shortly after 7 a.m., people were riding in their cars as usual, getting ready to head to work. The staff stationed at the factory had already begun eating sporadically. Suddenly, someone said, “Bring along some change of clothes—there’s a chance we won’t be going home anytime soon.” At first hearing it, I thought it was just a joke!

Soon after, news of an outbreak in Shuangfu, the city’s lockdown, and the closure of transportation routes flooded the media—but curiously, no official, formal announcements from the authorities were to be found! In an instant, everyone in Yilong was utterly confused: How could they get to work? How could they deliver goods? How should production schedules be arranged? And how would raw materials be brought into the factory? Just at this critical moment, General Chen happened to be far away in Hainan...

Looking once again at the once-bustling, noisy morning rush hour—now gradually becoming quiet and deserted!

Immediately, all levels of management at the company—from top to bottom—organized meetings to discuss and develop contingency plans for epidemic prevention and control!

Employees who were blocked outside Shuangfu due to road closures had no choice but to turn back the way they came. Please stay informed about the latest developments in the epidemic and cooperate with the government’s efforts to control and prevent its spread.

Factory employees, in accordance with the epidemic prevention and control requirements of the Shuangfu New Area, immediately initiated disinfection procedures, began wearing protective masks, and started taking temperature readings. They are also cooperating with the company’s efforts to ensure production and supply.

The Production Department is maintaining close communication with all sales representatives, disrupting the previous production schedule and resequencing production accordingly. We’re also slowing down the production pace and scaling back large-order production to prepare for potential shortages of raw materials.

The Supply Department is closely coordinating with suppliers and ensuring they are ready to deliver at any time.

While closely monitoring policy developments, the General Affairs Department is also focusing on overall coordination and paying special attention to logistical support, ensuring that employees at the plant have access to essential daily necessities.

The Sales Department is reorganizing and implementing customer needs and their urgency levels, while keeping the bigger picture in mind.

In just 7.5 days, nearly everyone experienced firsthand and personally felt the various impacts brought about by this major (epidemic) event!

It was precisely these brief 7.5 days that allowed everyone to witness the genuine kindness and beauty of the Yilong people. Vice President Wang became the backbone of the team, and everyone showed great concern for the various challenges facing the company’s operations, offering thoughtful suggestions and ideas to find ways to resolve them as best they could.

Fortunately, thanks to our thorough preparations in the usual course of business, with the exception of significant disruptions to receiving and shipping operations, nearly all customer orders were produced without major impact. This is precisely why, after the pandemic restrictions were lifted, we saw a flurry of last-minute shipments and a bustling scene of multiple trucks simultaneously delivering goods!

Every single detail vividly and authentically embodies the Yilong people’s spirit of unity, fearless perseverance, never-give-up attitude, customers’ trust, and Yilong’s unwavering commitment!

Throughout these 7.5 days, we’d like to extend special thanks to Wan Li. With her delicate and graceful presence, she has consistently been at the forefront of work planning and coordination, becoming a vibrant beacon and a beautiful sight during this extraordinary time!

We’d also like to thank our newly hired employees, Gong Yuzhong and Yu Xiaoping. Faced with difficulties, they were the first to step forward and take the lead—literally “roaring” into action!

We’d like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our employees who braved the scorching heat and had their clothes soaked through.
